Dear Stef..

this was entertaining, amusing and a great chance to see you live. But the last song, the last song....touched my heart. So well written, I hope to see it on disc sometime soon. Unbearable Lightness...read it twice.

Thanks for being you, and putting yourself out there. Don't stop. You know you can't.

Especially loved the bits with what sounds like a new song. Hope to hear more of that, bro!

This one comes straight from the fireplace at Vartiosaari, warming my feet as I write. We had a few -20 degrees days and it was quite a haul to keep the home fire goin', but great sledding & snow and walking on the frozen Baltic Sea. Nothing wrong with 100 days of snow, if you ask me.

Terri,

a surprise to see you outside Myspace. Thanks for the encouraging words. Very sweet and sincere. chuffed you liked it. I did too. Though, in fairness, the director/editor/producer must take some of the credit. In fact, knowing your penchant for prose, I have a feeling you'd like his blog: http://ghostofmintyhatton.blogspot.com/

Lovely to hear from you.
Talk soon

Miss the snow and sauna.

Hi S, Terri, "Wolfie" and all who pass this way,
just dropped by to say that I too loved that song. It's all about ...the son that I bore... right now for me, comforting to know that there seems to be that mother/son struggle for others at times.... but sure we'd never be without them. What is it with Mammys and the spoiling of their Irish sons anyway??? :-)

Was yer hat surgically removed or did you give in without a fight?? ;-)

Hey Carmel,
thanks for stopping by.
I'll let the songs do the talking where they should, I guess that's the point. The song, "Secrets and Lies" is the working title and should make it onto the next LP.

However, regarding the hat, it was pinched as I slept. Scoundrel! Was good to let a bit of air round the old head.

Take care and watch this space for episode II of "The Tao of Junk"..

at a blogspace near you!
